If you were wondering when The Crown would return to our screens… well, we do know, but there’s going to be a wait. As announced by Imelda Staunton (who takes over the role of Queen Elizabeth II), the show won’t be back until November… 2022.

Yes, with filming recently kicked off this year, it does mean a long wait for the show (which we’d all expected, but it’s frustrating nonetheless).

Around Staunton, we’ll see Jonathan Pryce as the Duke of Edinburgh, Dominic West as Prince Charles, Elizabeth Debicki as Princess Diana, with Lesley Manville as the latest Princess Margaret and Johnny Lee Miller as Prime Minister John Major.
